JUSCO secures Chennai water contract

Jamshedpur Utilities & Services Company (JUSCO), a 100 per cent subsidiary of Tata Steel has bagged an order worth Rs 18.37 crore from the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (CMWSSB) for leak detection and rectification work for various divisions of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

The proposed order is likely to be completed in 18 months. The project is being funded 35 per cent by the ministry of urban development, 15 per cent by the Tamil Nadu Government under JNNURM and 50 per cent by the CMWSSB.
