ADB loan for Himachal water supply scheme

The Himachal Pradesh government has approached the Asian Development Bank for funding the Rs 1,307-crore Pabbar riverfed gravity water supply scheme, Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal said recently. The loan, if and when it is approved, will be routed through the Union urban development ministry. The water supply scheme will be constructed from Pabbar river to Shimla city. Water and Power Consultancy Ltd, is the consultant.
