In Gujarat, it is a carnival of nine nights and nine days involving Garba Folk dance performed in adoration of Goddess Amba. “Entire Gujarat comes alive, where millions of people dance together in colourful costumes along with beats of thousands of musical instruments. The inherent culture of Gujarat - hospitality and vibrancy is reflected all through the festival,” added Patel.

It is a mix of celebrations and sightseeing for any tourist. “Gujarat is the only place in the world having approximately 12,365 fairs and festivals in a year. Along with its cultural heritage, the state is also blessed with a variety of scenic, historical, eco-friendly and archaeological destinations, fascinating landscapes and exotic beaches and exquisite cuisines. It is the only abode of Asiatic Lions in the world, besides having remains of ancient civilization,” mentioned Patel.
