Teekays' medium density fibre board unit to go onstream by 2009

The Bangalore based Teekays Interior Solutions' medium density fibre board ( MDF ) manufacturing facility near Bangalore is expected to go on stream by early 2009.

The Rs.206 crore facility, being funded with an equity-debt ratio of 40:60, is coming up on 25 acres of land allotted by the Karnataka government. The facility will have a production capacity of 1,00,000 cubic metre of MDF a year.
