ZTE Telecom chalks out capex plan for the next two-three years

ZTE Telecom India has chalked out an investment plan of Rs 2,500 crore ($500 million) to be implemented in the next two three years in India.

Under its investment plant, the company intends to set up a mobile handset manufacturing facility in India. The company is likely to set up the proposed facility in Tamil Nadu and has sought 30 acre of land near Sriperumbudur near Chennai.

Besides, ZTE plans to introduce more new generation telecom equipment in the Indian market soon. It will soon introduce CDMA-based trunk radio handset under the brand Go-Ta for two-way communication.
