The Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) has reportedly handed over land allotment letters to seven companies for various projects with a combined project investment of Rs 3,000 crore.
SBQ Steels has been allocated 365 acre at Ankalapatturu in Nellore for its upcoming integrated steel project entailing an investment of Rs 2,250 crore. Rockon Construction Systems has received the land allotment letter for 10 acre in APIIC Industrial Park at Mambattu in SPS Nellore district for a tempest-proof building panels making projects, with an estimated investment of Rs 100 crore.
The companies setting up plants at Sri City are; AS Cargo Movers for a warehousing and logistics project, TIL Exports for a manufacturing facility to produce pharma and nutraceutical formulations, Rockworth Systems Furniture for making office systems and furniture, Lovepac Converting, Sweden, for making mobile phone components, Saakar Printing and Design Engineer for manufacture toner cartridges for laser printers. These projects are expected to attract an investment of Rs 500 crore.
