The Corporation of Chennai (CoC) has invited tenders from private developers, on DBOT basis, for construction and maintenance of fully automatic multi-level car parking facility in Broadway bus terminus.
The parking facility to be constructed on 3,000 sq mtrs at the bus stand will have 610 equivalent car space.
The selected builder will be given rights for 20 years - two years for construction and the rest for operating it. Parking fee will be prescribed by CoC. In addition to offering parking facility, the builder could utilise the additional space for commercial activities.
