MPRDC invites bids for two road projects

The Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation (MPRDC) has invited bids from potential companies for civil works of two roads under Madhya Pradesh State Road Project-II under Package five.

MPRDC has invited the bids for rehabilitation and upgradation of 33-km Indore-Depalpur (Road No 8) and for the balance work of 30-km Birgodha-Ingoria (Road No 9). The combined cost of the work is Rs 41.53 crore.

The Union Government is likely to borrow funds from the Asian Development Bank towards the cost of Madhya Pradesh State Road Project-II. Parts of this funds is expected to be used for payments under the above mentioned contract package.

Last date for submission of bids is 26 October 2009.
