Mumbai based Marico is likely to launch its 45 beauty and wellness centre - Kaya Clinic - by 2012 besides setting up a manufacturing facility for hair care products in Uttarakhand by the end of this fiscal.
The company intends to invest Rs 100 crore for the proposed expansion. Of the total, the company will invest Rs 50 crore for expanding its Kaya Clinic network. The Uttarakhand facility will be set up at an investment of Rs 18 crore which will manufacture hair creams, gels and hair oils to cater to the growing market.
Currently, Marico has 73 Kaya Clinics in India and 11 abroad, mainly in the Middle East countries.
