Mumbai based Laxmi Diamonds retail brand Cygnus Fine Jewellery is likely to expand its business by setting up 40 standalone exclusive stores across India and entering 50 lifestyle stores by the end-December 2010.
The new exclusive outlets are expected to be a mix of company-owned and franchise operated stores. Besides, plans are afoot to widen its traditional jewellery collections. However, the investment details of the proposed expansion are yet to be finalised.
Currently, the company has 20 exclusive outlets, besides being present in around 200 lifestyle stores, including Shopper's Stop, Lifestyle, Pantaloons and Westside.
