UPPCL to rope in consultants for Lalitpur power project

Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd (UPPCL) has invited bids from prospective consultants for its proposed 1,980 MW thermal power project at Lalitpur in Uttar Pradesh.

UPPCL is planning to set up a 3x660 MW thermal power station in Lalitpur. The consultant is to be appointed to provide consultancy services for (i) Module 1: Preparation of feasibility study report for the power project (ii) Module 2: Preparation of DPR (iii) Module 3: Carrying out comprehensive study for Comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessment.

Last date of submission for bids is 23 September 2009.
