Substation inaugurated in Technopark's Phase III campus

V S Achuthanandan, Chief Minister, Kerala, has inaugurated the new 110 kV substation in Technopark's Phase III campus in Thiruvananthapuram.

The total capacity of the station is 25 MVA and is located beside Chavadimukku - Kulathur road that divides the Phase II and Phase III campuses. This station will cater to the power requirements of IT companies in both the Phase II and Phase III campuses.

The substation was constructed by ABB at a cost of Rs 9 crore. The engineering consultancy services for this project were rendered by Jayachandran, Muralee & Associates.
