KEC International bags Rs 291 cr orders

KEC International has bagged orders worth Rs 291 crore for various supply and construction works from Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL).

    * The first order worth Rs 201 crore for supply and construction of 765 kV S/C Satna -Bina (Ckt-II), 400 kV D/C Bina (PG) - Bina (MPPTCL) line associated with ATS for Sasan UMPP. The 275 km transmission line is to be constructed in Madhya Pradesh by November 2011.
    * The second order worth Rs 90 crore for supply and construction of 400 kV D/C Balipara - Biswanath Chariyali line, LILO of both circuits of 400 kV D/C Ranganadi - Balipara line at Biswanath Chariyali and LILO of 132 kV S/C Depota - Gohpur line at Biswanath Chariyali (AEGCL) associated with North East - Northern / Western Interconnector-I. The 108 km transmission line is to be constructed in Assam by November 2011.
