BHEL has secured a Rs 2,630 crore order from Monnet Power Company, a subsidiary of the Monnet Ispat and Energy Group, for the extended Boiler Turbine Generator package for an upcoming 2x525 MW thermal power project in Orissa.
The greenfield power project is located at Malibrahmani in Angul district.
BHEL's scope of work comprises design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection and commissioning of steam turbines, generators and boilers, along with associated auxiliaries and mechanical and electrical packages, besides state-of-the-art controls & instrumentation and electrostatic precipitators.
