Kochi refinery expansion on track

A 725-tonne reactor is scheduled to arrive at Kochi Port on 18 May 2009 which will be installed at BPCL's Vacuum Gas Oil Hydro Desulphurisation Unit. With this the capacity expansion and modernisation project of the BPCL Kochi Refinery is expected to be completed on schedule in December 2009. The Rs 80-crore reactor has been manufactured by China Forging Heavy Industries, Dalain, under the supervision of China Petroleum Technical Development Corporation. Source : ProjectsToday
