BPCL's Bina refinery to be completed by December

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) has stated that its six million tpa refinery at Bina in Madhya Pradesh is likely to be completed before end-2009 and will begin fuel sales from next fiscal.

Bharat Oman Refineries, a JV between BPCL and Oman Oil Company, is building the refinery.

According to sources, around 95 per cent of the refinery is completed and commissioning will be completed by March 2010. BPCL is expected to buy crude oil cargoes from the spot market for commissioning of the refinery.
