Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) has won rights to retail CNG to automobiles and pipe gas to households in two cities of Andhra Pradesh and one in Madhya Pradesh.

RIL got the rights for city gas in Rajahmundry and Yanam in Andhra Pradesh and Shahdol in Madhya Pradesh.

RIL beat the JV of Adani Energy and IOC to get rights. However, PNGRB has not awarded a LoI to the company as the Delhi High Court has restrained it from doing so.
