Exxon Mobil signs deal with Petronet

Australia's Exxon Mobil has inked a gas supply agreement with India's Petronet worth $ 21 billion (approx Rs 1,00,800 crore) over 20 years.

Under the contract, Exxon Mobil Australia will supply 1.5 million tonne of LNG a year from the Gorgon gas fields off Western Australia. Gorgon JV partners Chevron, Exxon Mobil and Royal Dutch Shell are yet to give final approval to the project.
