RINL JV with Manganese Ore for ferro alloy plant

The Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL) signed a JV agreement with the Manganese Ore (India) on 7 May 2009 for setting up a ferro-alloy plant at Bobbili in Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh.

Around 100 acre has been acquired from the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation for the proposed project. The plant will produce ferro-manganese and silico-manganese and will ensure supply of ferro alloys to RINL, which is currently expanding its capacity to 6.3 miliion tonne.
