National Paints plans investment in Kerala

Jordan based National Paints Factories Company proposes to invest Rs 500 crore over the next three years in Kerala.

To this end, National Paints has set up a subsidiary, National Paints Factories (India), to launch its first unit in the country. The newly set up modern plant at Kochi, having the latest machinery and a daily production capacity of 1.2 lakh litres, is to be inaugurated on 12 September 2009.

The company is expected to manufacture the entire range of paint products, including decorative paints, polyurethanes, wood coatings, industrial paints, automotive paints, marine paints and a range of texture and specialty paints.
