The Budget Property 2009-Central Suburbs, a three-day exhibition showcasing properties in the range of Rs 4 lakh to Rs 49 lakh and lifestyle apartments above Rs 50 lakh, was held in Mumbai from February 21 to 23. It was organised under the auspices of the Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry, and attracted nearly 22,758 walk-ins. As many as 22 real estate developers displayed around 300-plus properties in the Central suburbs.
Prominent real estate developers who participated in the event included Lodha group, Neptune group, Acme Housing India Pvt. Ltd, Ajmera group, Akruti City Ltd, Arihant Builders, DB Realty Ltd, Damji Shamji Shah group, Disha Direct Marketing Services Pvt. Ltd, Dosti group, Everest Developers, Godrej Properties Ltd, Kalpataru Ltd, Lalani group, Marathon Realty, Neelkanth Mansions & Infrastructure Ltd, Nirmal Lifestyles, Nirman group, Rustomjee, Sanghvi group, Silvex Realty Ltd and Soft Corner Marketing Services, among others.
Deepak Goradia, Co-convener Exhibitions-MCHI, said, “The budget property exhibition was aimed at a specific range of buyers and received very good response.”
Pravin Doshi, President, MCHI, said, “The turnout was good keeping in mind the recent government and bank initiatives towards the real estate industry as well as the banking sector in general.”
Shailesh Sanghvi, Sanghvi Group, commented, “Affordable homes is a good concept, and the future is bright for developers and buyers.”
