Subhash Projects & Marketing Ltd has won a Rs 586-crore order relating to the Chevella lift irrigation scheme in Andhra Pradesh. Placed by the state government's Irrigation and Command Area Development department, the order will be executed in consortium with SEW Infrastructure Ltd and AMR Construction. SPML's share in the contract is 80 per cent.
The scope of work include investigation, design and execution of water conveyor system consisting of lined gravity canal of Tipparam - Chityal Canal Reach-I with carrying capacity of 44.20 cumecs taking off from Thipparam Reservoir to Kandukur Vagu crossing near Mulkala palli of Turkapalli Mandal of Nalgonda district, including distributory network for an area of 55,000 acres. The contract includes operations and maintenance.
