Ista Hotels, part of the Delhi based IHHR Hospitality, proposes to expand its existing hotel at Gachi Bowli, an IT suburb of Hyderabad, at an outlay of Rs 90 crore.
The blue print for the expansion is ready. The company has secured about 16 acre from the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation in the same premises and expects to commence work by end-2009. The expansion will help Ista add about 137 new rooms, a couple of restaurants and conferencing facilities.
At present, Ista manages three properties in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Amritsar, and is in the process of adding two more properties; one with 210 rooms in Pune (Maharahtra) and another at Ahmedabad (Gujarat) with 250 rooms.
