Dharampal Satyapal (DS) Group is likely to start work on its proposed five star hotel in Guwahati, Assam soon.
Currently, the company is awaiting necessary approvals and clearances for the project. The hotel entailing a cost of Rs 200 crore will be developed by a JV between DS Group and Guwahati Municipal Development Authority.
The project is to come up on 27 bigha land on the outskirts of the city. The company has already done the soil testing and the blue print of the hotel is ready. According to sources, the project is likely to be completed in a span of 18 months.
