After launching of Urban Pind in Greater Kailash-I, owners Kashif Farooq and Prashant Ojha have come up with Urban Café, a dine-in restaurant in Khan Market, New Delhi. The 49 Cover café offers a variety of selected dishes, which includes Indian, Chinese, Thai, Mediterranean, Italian and Continental cuisines.
The outlet is based partially on the model of the French brasserie offering a semi-formal dining experience as well as a relaxed and modern cafeteria setting. The café has a backlit onyx service bar, baccarat crystal chandeliers, loius IV chairs, quilted wall panels and marble figurines.
Spread over two levels covering 1500 sq ft, Urban Cafe, offers cocktails, innovative shakes, wine menu and delectable gourmet delights. Guests can taste ‘Urban Shakes’ like Bailey’s Irish Cream Shake, Lindt Chocolate Shake, Choco-Monster, Roller Coaster Shake or ‘Urban Coolers’ like Country Lemonade, Equatorial Smoothie, Passion Fever and Very Berry. Hot beverages like hot soups, shorbas, teas and coffee are also offered.
The Italian menu offers excellent options like Mezze Platter, Bruscetta Di Pomodoro Ed Olive and Chicken Espetads, while the Indian kitchen offers Chicken Masala Rolls Tandoori Machhi Amritsari to veggies like Sabz Khumani Kofta and Veg Bhuna Balls.
