A super-speciality hospital entailing a cost of Rs 120 crore is being set up in Jammu in a bid to provide better health facilities to the people. The Union Government has sanctioned Rs 100 crore whereas Rs 20 crore was granted by the Jammu & Kashmir Government for the hospital.
The facility will have special departments of Cardiology, Nephrology and Neurology with well equipped facilities. The hospital is expected to be completed by March 2010.
