Hinduja Group plans expansion

The Hinduja Group has earmarked Rs 350 crore to expand the capacity of its hospital in Mumbai by 2013.

The Group is planning to add 250 beds at its existing hospital P D Hinduja National Hospital & Medical Research Center.

This apart, it is setting up a greenfield hospital in Mumbai with a capacity of 100 beds at an investment of Rs 150 crore. Construction work has already commenced on the hospital which is slated to commence operations by April 2010.
