United Spirits, a subsidiary of UB Group, plans to expand its production capacity with an investment of Rs 100 crore.
As part of the domestic expansion, the company is planning to target Tier-II cites in the country.
The current production capacity is one million bottles, which is expected to be increased to one million cases (each of 12 bottles) with an investment of Rs 100 crore over the next three years. United Spirits plans to export its wine from October 2009 to the UK, France, Germany, Japan and some parts of the US.
