Managing Director of Daikin Airconditioning India, Mr Toshiki Hayashi, laid the foundation stone for the air-conditioning manufacturing unit at Neemrana in Rajasthan. The project will entail an investment of Rs.160 crore.
The plant will have a production capacity of 20,000 units of variable refrigeration volume (VRV) and 1,800 chillers annually. The plant is likely to be completed and commence production by September 2009. |
