BGR Energy arranges credit lines for Rs 3,850 cr

BGR Energy Systems has raised Rs 3,850 crore to fund its working capital requirements for execution of EPC contract for the 2x600 MW Kalisindh thermal power project at Jhalawar of Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam (RRVUNL).

The company has appointed IDBI Bank to arrange for funds of Rs 700 crore and non-based fund facilities of Rs 3,150 crore. A consortium of eleven banks including IDBI, Bank of India, and Indian Bank has shown interest to finance these facilities.
