Chief Minister of Kerala, V.S. Achuthanandan laid the foundation stone for the Ambalapuzha Infopark at Ambalapuzha in Alappuzha district on 15 February. The investment in the project is expected to be in excess of Rs.500 crore.
The Ambalapuzha Park, which will operate as an extension of Infopark Kochi, will come up on a 100 acre site, of which 33 acre will be a SEZ. Work on the first phase of the park is scheduled to be completed by end-2010.
