Emaar MGF is likely to develop a township project - Windermere Estates - in Shillong (Meghalaya), thus marking its foray in the North-East. The proposed project is expected to be launched shortly.
Initially, the company intends to invest Rs 400 crore to develop the project on 84 acre. It is expected to comprise of villas, plots, retail space and a hotel.
Emaar MGF is JV between MGF Developments and Dubai's Emaar Properties.
