Kolkata based Shree Cement has commissioned Clinker Manufacturing Unit VII of 1 million tpa capacity at Bangur City, Ras in Pali district of Rajasthan at a capex of Rs 250 crore. The project was completed in a span of 12 months. The machinery for the plant was supplied by KHD Humboldt Wedag of Germany.
The commissioning of the unit is expected to help the company ramp up its annual cement production capacity to 10-10.3 million from nine million tonne, depending upon its blending ratio.
