Adani Enterprises to set up cement plant in Gujarat

Adani Enterprises intends to invest Rs. 1,800 crore to set up a 5 million tpa cement and clinker unit in Kutch district, Gujarat at an estimated outlay of Rs.1800 crore.

The fly ash is likely to be sourced from its upcoming power project at Mundra. in Kutch district, Gujarat. It may be noted that Adani is developing a 4,600MW ultra mega power project in association with Tata Power at Mundra.

Adani has begun discussions with Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC) and Ashapura Minechem for sourcing other raw material.
