Toyota Kirloskar plans more capex at Bidadi plant

Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd (TKML), a subsidiary of Japan's Toyota Motor Corp, is reportedly pumping in an additional Rs 800 crore at its manufacturing site near Bangalore to be spent during 2011-2016.

TKML is already investing Rs 3,200 crore in a plant at Bidadi for production of small car. The work on the plant is underway and is likely to be ready by 2010. The car plant is expected to have an annual capacity of 100,000 units.
