Tata Motors Limited, India’s top vehicle maker is now looking forward to launch an electric car and other fuel-efficient vehicles, Ratan Tata said on Thursday.

The company which came up with the world cheapest car Nano, for just Rs. 1 lakh, would also expand its presence in the defence equipment business, said Ratan Tata . The company is reportedly working on an ambitious air-powered car also.

As above mentioned Tata came up with world cheapest car Nano for 1 lakh, so now what's the cost of this electric car RS 50,000

Electric car sounds different.
Such type of cars are available outside India ?

Kudos Tatas. Even if the e-car is priced at petrol car's rate, it is most welcome!
