Hospitality management and marketing company, Shaw Hospitality plans to manage 10 hotels by June 2010 in India. Currently, the company has management alliances with three hotels and marketing alliances with 12 hotels (including four hotels in Dubai). For its future ventures, Shaw Hospitality is looking at Tier II and Tier III cities. As part of its services for upcoming projects, Shaw Hospitality will provide project management, project viability study, architect, interior designing, facility planning, supplies and suppliers, whereas for operating properties, it will offer hotel management, operating standards and management information systems.
Speaking about company’s future plans, Ranjan Gupta, CEO, Shaw Hospitality, said, “We plan to target independent hoteliers in Tier II and Tier III cities as these players need expertise in the field of hospitality. We are open for negotiations with all categories of hotels. To start with, we would like to concentrate on Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra and look for hotels with small room inventory (between 40 and 75). We believe in delivering balance of service and quality with consistency.”
Delyse Braganza, Director Marketing and Sales, Shaw Hospitality, informed, “With a dedicated team, which provides expertise into management, marketing, finance, designing and software, we aim to provide a single-window solution for hotel operations in project guidance, software, manpower and operations.”
Currently, the company manages two hotels, The White Lily, Nashik and The Waterfront Shaw, Lavasa. The company will operate its third hotel in Jaipur by November, 2009. Shaw Hospitality has marketing alliances with Hotel Airport International, Mumbai; Hotel Golden Star, Surat; The Metropole Hotel, Ahmedabad; Hotel Parc Estique, Pune; Quality Resort The Riverview, Chiplun; The Meadows, Aurangabad; Velvet Apple Hotels, New Delhi, Quality Hotel Regency Pune; Marcopolo, Dubai; Savoy Suites, Dubai; Savoy Crest Dubai and Savoy Park, Dubai.
