Mangalore integrated terminal building to commence operations by September

The Airport Authority of India's (AAI) new integrated terminal building at Mangalore Airport in Karnataka is likely to commence operations by September 2009.

The new terminal building has been constructed at an estimated investment of Rs 165 crore. All the civil engineering works is expected to be completed by July 2009.

After inauguration, the flights will be shifted to new terminal. The commissioning of the building will provide international airport statues to Mangalore Airport.

Currently, steps are being taken to ensure that the airport is equipped with necessary facilities at the new terminal.
