Dish Hospitality, a Wadhawan Group company plans to invest Rs.300 crore by 2012 to open multi-brand chain of restaurants and cafes. The expansions will be funded through internal accruals.
Some of the brands under its name are Aurus - a fine-dine restaurant; Nashta Chai - a kiosk serving street food from across the country; Tasty Tangles - an oriental restaurant which is a franchisee of Dubai-based Jumeirah hotel and Sancho's - a Mexican restaurant.
Dish Hospitality plans to open 35 Tasty Tangles restaurants in India. The company has also joined hands with the US-based Focus Group to open a franchisee outlet of international chain Cinnabon. Apart fro this, Dish Hospitality has a 18,000-sq ft central kitchen in Mumbai, supplying around 10,000 meals on a daily basis to corporate and movie production units.
